Purpose. 1MP is intended to be a public and moderated digital advertising canvas. This Acceptable Use Policy defines the content, links and behaviours that are not allowed. It applies to reservation requests, future pixel submissions, URLs, images, logos, messages, categories, buyer profiles and any other material submitted to 1MP.
1. General responsibility
Users are responsible for making sure that all submitted material is lawful, accurate, authorised, non-deceptive and safe. Users must not submit content or links that violate applicable law, third-party rights, payment-provider restrictions, hosting rules or this policy.
2. Prohibited content and links
- Sexual exploitation and explicit adult content: pornography, explicit sexual material, escort services, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery or content involving minors.
- Child safety violations: child sexual abuse material, grooming, exploitation, sexualisation of minors or any content that endangers children.
- Illegal activity: criminal services, evasion tools, instructions that facilitate wrongdoing, trafficking, stolen goods or unlawful commercial activity.
- Fraud and deception: scams, fake investment schemes, pyramid schemes, phishing, impersonation, fake endorsements, deceptive offers or misleading charity claims.
- Malware and unsafe technology: malware, ransomware, spyware, credential theft, harmful downloads, unsafe redirects, exploit kits or domains flagged by security tools.
- Hate, harassment and violence: hate speech, targeted harassment, threats, doxxing, incitement to violence, glorification of violence or discriminatory abuse.
- Terrorism and extremism: recruitment, propaganda, fundraising, operational support or praise for terrorist or sanctioned extremist groups.
- Unlawful regulated goods: illegal drugs, unlawful weapons, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, illegal gambling services or regulated products sold without required authorisation.
- Intellectual property infringement: counterfeit branding, unauthorised logos, stolen creative works, piracy, trademark abuse or misleading association with another brand.
- Privacy violations: doxxing, publication of private personal data, non-consensual images, stalking tools or surveillance services.
3. Restricted or high-risk categories
Even where lawful, 1MP may reject or require additional review for high-risk categories including financial products, investment opportunities, crypto projects, medical claims, political campaigns, charities, fundraising, alcohol, tobacco, gambling-adjacent services, adult-adjacent services, weapons-related content, supplements and heavily regulated products.
4. Link safety requirements
Submitted URLs must lead to functioning, lawful and safe destinations. Users must not use cloaking, malicious redirects, rotating destinations, misleading domains, URL shorteners designed to hide the final destination, or post-approval changes that turn a previously approved link into prohibited content.
5. Brand and identity rules
Users must not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership or affiliation with 1MP, another buyer, a public figure, a brand, a charity, a government body or any third party unless they have permission and can provide evidence if requested.
6. Charity, public-interest and impact claims
Charity, NGO, fundraising or social-impact claims must be truthful and verifiable. 1MP may request registration documents, authorisation letters, proof of relationship or additional due diligence before approving such content.
7. Financial, health and legal claims
Content making financial, investment, health, medical, tax or legal claims may be rejected unless it is lawful, substantiated and compliant with relevant advertising rules. 1MP may refuse high-risk claims even if the user believes them to be accurate.
8. Moderation process
1MP may use automated tools, manual review, security scanners, third-party databases, domain reputation checks, trademark review and user reports. Approval is not permanent and may be reconsidered at any time.
9. Enforcement actions
Depending on the severity and context, 1MP may reject content, request edits, suspend publication, remove links, block domains, restrict accounts, cancel future purchases, refuse refunds where allowed, report illegal content, preserve evidence or cooperate with competent authorities.
10. Reporting abuse
Users and visitors should be able to report illegal, harmful, misleading or infringing content. Future versions of the platform should include a clear reporting mechanism and a documented review process. For EU-facing platform operations, notice-and-action and content reporting obligations may need to be assessed under the Digital Services Act.
11. Appeals and corrections
Where appropriate, users may be allowed to correct rejected content or appeal moderation decisions. Appeals may be refused for urgent safety, illegality, fraud, child-safety, malware or regulatory concerns.
12. Repeat violations
Repeated or serious violations may lead to permanent blocking of users, domains, brands, payment methods, accounts, IP ranges or associated entities.
